This voyage will start with a day cruise along the Ría de Arousa, combined with a tasting of local cuisine by a specialized agency. The next day we'll set sail towards Pobra do Caraminal. We'll spend a day and a half sailing in the area (maybe with a stop for a swim if the weather allows it).

On the 6th of May we'll arrive in Pobra, where we'll explore the city and its culinary traditions with a "Tapas city tour" curated by an agency from the area.

The day after we'll have an outdoor activity (like Canyoning/Kayaking or similar), and in the afternoon/evening we'll welcome the people in the area to visit the ship's deck, and discover what we do. After one more night in Pobra do Caraminal, we'll set sail again towards Muros.

One and a half more days at sea (maybe with another stop for a swim along the way) and we'll arrive in Muros, where we'll have time to explore the city, for a hiking tour, and for a big dinner in town as a farewell on the last night of the trip.

O Grove, Galecia, Spain
O Grove is situated at the mouth of the Arousa estuary. The port of O Grove is devoted to fishing and mussel gathering. In addition to shellfish gathering and shallow-water fishing, locals live from the cultivation of mussels, oysters and scallops on platforms out in the water. Be sure to try the fresh shellfish while you are here.

A Pobra do Caramiñal
A Pobra do Caramiñal is a town at the entrance of one of the lower bays of the Galician coastline known as the Ria de Arousa. It features a large harbor with docks for commercial and leisure craft, the Alameda, the Old Town, and a popular beach. The port is open to the public, with fishing boats on display ranging from dinghy-sized dornas to large fishing boats moored to the quay. A footpath runs the length of the harbor, parallel to the beach, leading to the second part of the port where yachts and speedboats moor.

After a city-planning boom in the 60’s & 70’s, the town has survived, preserving one of the most historical towns on the Galician coast. Tourist sites include the numerous found petroglyphs, as well as the singular Via Crucis, the monastery of San Francisco, and many beaches.
